ISLAMABAD: PML(N) supremo Nawaz Sharif has summoned the key leaders of his party in London, including PM Shehbaz Sharif to make key decisions about politics and economy.
According to sources, Nawaz Sharif has summoned an urgent meeting of the party’s leadership in London for consultation over some important issues. Nawaz Sharif and other PML(N) leaders have reservations over some political and economic issues and they want to make key decisions as their government is facing challenges on different fronts in the country.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is expected to leave for London tonight, while federal ministers Marriyum Aurangzeb and Ahsan Iqbal are expected to leave on Wednesday.

A senior PML(N) leader and former PM Shahid Khaqan Abbasi is already in London.
A discussion regarding the strategy on the prices of petroleum products will be held with Nawaz Sharif and former finance minister Ishaq Dar, said sources.
The discussion holds special importance as a delegation of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) is expected to begin talks with Pakistani officials on May 18 in Doha.
Moreover, decisions regarding power-sharing, the next general election and the Punjab cabinet will also be taken during the meeting.
