Nawaz Sharif again returned to London
Former Prime Minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Supremo Nawaz Sharif again returned to London from Dubai. He concluded his extensive tour, which spanned Saudi Arabia, UAE, and multiple European countries, by returning to London.
Throughout the tour, Nawaz Sharif engaged in meetings with influential leaders across the region. Commencing on June 24, his journey began as he left London for Dubai. In Dubai, he held pivotal discussions with the top echelons of his party.

Notably, Nawaz Sharif held a meeting with PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari during his stay in Dubai. He highlighted the shifting dynamics of Pakistan’s political landscape.
Following his departure from Dubai, the PML-N leader continued his expedition, visiting Italy, Switzerland, and Germany, thereby strengthening his presence in the European political arena.
Nawaz Sharif’s return to his London will be accompanied by a series of meetings with various political leaders in the upcoming days.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, alongside other prominent PML-N leaders, is scheduled to travel to London to meet Nawaz Sharif.
Meanwhile, the deposed premier is contemplating his return to Pakistan in the following month.
Supreme Court declares null and void Review of judgements Act
Meanwhile, the Supreme Court has declared the Supreme Court (Review of Judgments and Orders) Act 2023 null and void. A three-member bench announced the decision today. The bench led by the chief justice considered the case during six hearings spanning from June 7 to June 19.
Moreover, Entitled the Supreme Court (Review of Judgments and Orders) Act 2023, the legislation aims to strengthen the powers of the Supreme Court in reconsidering its judgments. The act’s objective is to expand the jurisdiction of the highest court as defined in Article 188 of the Constitution.
This legislation empowers the apex court to reexamine any judgment, ensuring that the fundamental right to justice is upheld by facilitating a meaningful review of its judgments and orders, especially those issued under Article 184(3) in its original jurisdiction.
