Dr. Zakir Naik will be in Pakistan from October 5 to October 20 for a much-anticipated series of public lectures, generating excitement among his followers.
The tour will begin in Karachi on October 5 and wrap up in Islamabad on October 20, with lectures planned in three major cities: Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad. Joining him will be his son, Dr. Fariq Naik, also an Islamic scholar, who will speak in all three locations. Together, they will share insights on various Islamic topics, fostering engaging discussions with audiences.
In Karachi, Dr. Naik will address the profound question of “the purpose of our life” at Bagh-e-Quaid, right across from the mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. The following day, Dr. Fariq Naik will present a lecture titled “Kya Quran ko Samajh kar Parhna Zaroori Hai” (Is it necessary to understand the Quran while reading?), focusing on the importance of understanding the Quran.
While the dates for the Lahore lectures are set for October 12 and 13, and Islamabad for October 19 and 20, the specific topics and venues for these events have yet to be revealed, heightening anticipation for the tour.
Dr. Naik’s return to Pakistan follows a period of self-imposed exile after controversies in India. He currently resides in Malaysia, where he continues to engage with audiences globally.
In a recent interview, Dr. Naik explained his choice to move to Malaysia rather than Pakistan, citing an Islamic principle of accepting a lesser harm to avoid a greater one. He expressed concerns that relocating to Pakistan could expose him to false accusations and propaganda from India, which would hinder his mission to spread Islamic teachings.
