LAHORE: Law enforcement officers have fatally shot two bandits responsible for murdering a young girl in the presence of her father.
According to the information provided, two alleged bandit brothers, Haider and Abbas, were fatally involved in a police confrontation in Lahore’s Shahdra Town.
A tragic event took place in Lahore, where two members of the Topi Gang, involved in robbery, fatally shot 18-year-old Aniqa in front of her father.
This occurred when she bravely resisted their attempt to rob her while she was out with her father to purchase milk.
Punjab’s Chief Minister, Maryam Nawaz, responded to the unfortunate event in Lahore by requesting a detailed report from the Police Inspector General.
She directed the authorities to swiftly apprehend the offenders, as these people are detrimental to society and must face legal consequences.
Previously, according to police authorities, the Topi Gang was responsible for fatally shooting a police constable and subsequently seizing his firearm.
The spokesperson announced that the Topi Gang was responsible for the deaths of five individuals and injuring more in the recent past. As a result, Shahdra Town and Shahdra remain in a heightened state of security.
In a different occurrence, six suspected robbers lost their lives during an alleged police confrontation in Lahore’s Iqbal Town region.
On Saturday, as reported by the police, six individuals forcefully entered the residence of a physician located in Iqbal Town’s College Block.
The occupants of the house contacted the police via an emergency phone line, specifically using the number 15.
Upon witnessing the prompt intervention by the police, the bandits became fearful and retaliated by shooting at the law enforcement officers. During the subsequent heated confrontation, six of the bandits were unfortunately killed.
