ISLAMABAD: The condition of the domestic worker, who was tortured by the wife of the judge, has once again worsened at the Lahore General Hospital.
According to the hospital principal, the teenage girl has developed a lung infection, leading to breathing difficulties.
An emergency meeting of the 12-member medical board, responsible for her case, has been convened to make important decisions.
Dr. Farid Zafar, the principal, stated that the girl’s health significantly deteriorated on Sunday morning, with abnormal pulse rate and difficulty in breathing.
Her blood pressure also dropped drastically, and she will be placed in the ICU with oxygen support.
Dr. Zafar further revealed that the girl is also experiencing psychological issues due to the severe torture she endured.
Additionally, two or three more doctors will be added to the medical board assigned for Rizwana’s treatment.
