Sukkur: Three more children died of gastroenteritis in Saleh Patt

At Shehbaz Dino Gorkhani village near Saleh Patt, three kids perished from gastroenteritis. Three kids, two brothers Muhafiz Ali, 12, and Mehfooz Ali, 3, as well as Haider, 3, perished in the community.

Twenty people have died in the village of Shehbaz Dino as a result of gastroenteritis in the aftermath of the flood, according to local reports.

In a worrying report published earlier, the Sindh Health Department claimed that more than a million individuals in Sindh’s flood-affected areas had contracted different illnesses, including gastroenteritis.

As many as 1,079,000 people were afflicted with infectious ailments, according to statistics released by the Sindh Health Department, after the province was devastated by severe rains and subsequent floods.

The government is giving the medications needed for the prevention of dengue disease, according to Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, who recently visited flood-affected areas.

“People also facing diarrhea, gastroenteritis and other diseases apart of dengue in flood affected areas”, he added.
