Sujawal: A six-day-old infant killed in a celebratory fire at an event held in her honour

SUJAWAL: A six-day-old newborn girl was tragically killed in a celebratory fire at an event held in her honour in Sindh’s Sujawal district.

The incident occurred in the native village of the Sujawal district, according to the police.

At a celebration for the birth of her niece held in Sujawal village, the newborn baby girl was slain when her uncle fired fire to show his excitement, according to authorities.

The infant’s body was moved by the police to a neighbouring hospital for a post-mortem while her uncle was taken into custody.

Police stated that a second investigation into the situation is ongoing.
