The Sindh government is all set to unveil the Thar Desert Safari Train, an exciting initiative aimed at boosting tourism in the region.
According to the Department of Culture and Tourism, the special safari train will officially depart from Karachi on February 8. The inauguration will be conducted by Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah, the Minister for Culture and Tourism. The train will journey through key locations such as Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, and Chhor, before reaching the Parchee Ji Veri Resort, where passengers will be accommodated.
Minister Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah highlighted that this safari train will provide an opportunity for tourists to explore Sindh’s rich historical and cultural sites. He added that there are plans to make this safari train a permanent feature to further boost the region’s tourism sector.
Ahead of the official launch, a trial train will depart from Karachi on February 7 to ensure everything is in place for the grand opening.
