In a significant development, security forces in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province carried out two separate Intelligence-based operations (IBOs) resulting in the elimination of nine terrorists, including two high-profile individuals.
The operations, conducted in Tank District and South Waziristan District, targeted militants involved in various terrorist activities, including attacks against security personnel and civilians, extortion, and target killings.
In Tank District, security forces successfully neutralized two high-profile terrorists identified as Rehmat Ullah alias Badar Mansur and Amjad alias Babri. These individuals were known to be key figures in orchestrating terrorist activities in the region.
Similarly, in South Waziristan District, security forces engaged in a firefight with militants, resulting in the elimination of seven terrorists. The operation led to the recovery of a substantial cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives from the militants.
