Sara Inam’s murder case has led the wife of senior journalist Ayaz Amir to request bail before being arrested.
Shahnawaz Amir killed his wife Sara last week by hitting her with a dumbbell. He stated that he did so out of self-defense.
The district and sessions court in Islamabad received a pre-arrest bail request from Samina Shah.
According to the argument made by Barrister Hasnat, Samina Shah’s name was added to the case due to a complaint from Sara Inam’s uncle and aunt.
According to Samina Shah in her plea, my son Shahnawaz Amir called me at 9:12 a.m. to tell me that he had killed his wife.
She claimed that after receiving the call, she immediately hurried to the room where Sara Inam was staying, but her daughter-in-law was already dead.
According to the lawyer’s argument, Samina Shah was an eyewitness to her daughter-in-terrible law’s murder and had no involvement in it.
The court is petitioned to grant Samina Shah bail before arrest since my client has health difficulties, according to the motion made by attorney Hasnat.
In the murder case involving his daughter-in-law Sara Inam, a local court on Sunday ordered senior journalist Ayaz Amir to be physically detained for one day.
