Report: Transgender to Serve in Federal Capital Police

According to a report on Sunday, transgender individuals will also serve as federal police officers.

For this reason, applications have been requested. In a public advertisement, the federal capital police announced recruitment for 1668 positions.

Applicants who identify as transgender were invited based on the gender on their National Identity Card.

In compliance with the requirements of the Transgender Act, the applicant may also submit an application for self-acquired gender identity. The selection of transgender job applicants would be based on their overall qualifications, a police official said.

All exams must be passed in order to receive a Matriculation certificate.
