Rawalpindi Metro Bus Service to Be Suspended for 4 Days for Track Restoration

The Rawalpindi Metro Bus service will be temporarily suspended for four days, from November 28 to December 1, to allow for necessary track restoration work.

During this period, the service will not operate between Saddar Station and Faizabad. However, buses will continue to run normally between Faizabad and Pak Secretariat.

Starting December 2, the Metro bus service will resume full operations, covering the entire route from Saddar Station to Pak Secretariat.

The residents of twin cities complained of suffering due to suspension of metro bus service, especially students and government employees who use the bus service to commute from Islamabad to Rawalpindi and had to look for public transport.

Commuters are advised to plan their travel accordingly and use alternative routes or transport options between Saddar and Faizabad until the service resumes.
