Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Barrister Saif confirmed on Saturday that preparations are underway for a major protest and public gathering in Islamabad on November 24 (Sunday).
Speaking about the event, Saif stated, “A large number of people are expected to attend the gathering in the capital. The party’s senior leadership is actively holding meetings to coordinate the event.”
He also addressed the role of Bushra Bibi, wife of PTI founder Imran Khan, saying, “Bushra Bibi is a Pakistani citizen and has simply conveyed the message of the PTI founder to the party leadership.”
Saif emphasized that PTI has not used state machinery for its gatherings, adding, “The availability of rescue services is essential to ensure safety in case of any untoward incidents.”
He reiterated that the main objective of the protest is to demand the release of Imran Khan and other PTI leaders currently in custody.
