President Dr. Arif Alvi will visit the relief camps set up in Sindh’s flood-affected areas, including Dadu and Nawabshah, today.
The president will interact with flood victims and evaluate the current relief and recovery operations, according to reports.
He will also give a briefing on the administration’s post-flood recovery efforts.
Talking to a private news channel, the day before, the President emphasised the necessity for political leadership unity and stated that Pakistan could no longer afford any political dispute in light of the country’s current economic circumstances and flood devastation.
The president emphasised that there should be “some give and take” and that, as the head of the country enshrined in the constitution, all political parties were welcome to negotiate with him.
