Power Tariff increased by 3.39 Per Unit: NEPRA

The National Electric Electricity Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) raised power rates once more on Tuesday, burdening those who are already suffering due to soaring inflation and electricity bills.

The regulatory authority decided on a petition regarding quarterly adjustments while approving the Rs 3.93 per unit increase.

The latest power tariff will be in effect from October this year and it will be included in electricity bills for the month of November and December.
