PML-N leader Atta Tarar remarked on Sunday that newly-elected Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif did not mention political vendettas in his address. Tarar highlighted that the premier underscored the importance of reconciliation and national integrity while addressing various segments of society.
Tarar emphasized the significance of accepting election outcomes, questioning the possibility of Ali Amin Gandapur becoming the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) chief minister if rigging had occurred. He noted that the Pakistan Peoples Party secured a mandate in Sindh, while the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) governed KP.
Tarar urged individuals to present evidence of rigging if any existed, implying the importance of substantiating claims with concrete proof. The remarks reflect a stance of transparency and accountability within the political discourse.
