PM Shehbaz Sharif to Chair Special Federal Cabinet Meeting Today

To approve the establishment of a high-level committee to look into the audio leaks from the Prime Minister’s House, PM Shahbaz Sharif has scheduled a special meeting of the federal cabinet for today (Friday).

The cabinet meeting will be presided over by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. It will be the second time in a week that the cabinet meets.

National security and the leaked audio recordings of conversations that took place within the Prime Minister’s House will be on the meeting’s lengthy agenda.

Along with flood damage, relief efforts, and other relevant matters, the cabinet was expected to review them. The purpose of it was to assess the nation’s political and economic position.

The country’s economic position and future plans will be discussed, according to the report by Finance Minister Ishaq Dar.
