In the first week of this month Pakistan had started its countrywide vaccination drive with the frontline healthcare workers being the first ones to get the jabs.
After receiving 0.5 million doses of Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccine from China, Pakistan initiated its vaccination campaign. The doses were later distributed across all the provinces through land and air.
The country has approved four COVID-19 vaccines for emergency use so far that include two from China and one each from UK and Russia.
