Pakistan Kissan Ittehad invited Imran Khan to join Protest

Imran Khan, the chairman of the PTI and former prime minister, has been invited by Pakistan Kissan Ittehad (PKI) to take part in their struggle in the federal capital on their behalf.

The sixth day of the Pakistan Kissan Ittehad-organized protest by farmers in Islamabad has passed. A decrease in taxes, utility costs, and urea prices are among the protesting farmers’ key requests.

The farmers claimed that under former prime minister Imran Khan’s leadership, things were much better, and they accused the current administration of using delay tactics.

They made a commitment not to leave Islamabad until their justifiable demands were met.

Kissan Ittehad chairman Khalid Hussain Batth threatened to issue a call for a nationwide shutdown when speaking to reporters, and he set the government a deadline to accommodate the farmers’ demands.

They expressed optimism that the government will issue a notice following its acceptance of the farmers’ demands.

He urged the administration to send out a notification to meet the demands because otherwise, the farmers would shut down the entire nation. Millions of farmers, he continued, will follow his call and travel to Islamabad.

The government and farmers continued to negotiate ineffectively, and the situation remained deadlocked.
