The Pakistan Army recently hosted a Youth Convention in Peshawar, specifically tailored for students hailing from North Waziristan. The event garnered significant participation from enthusiastic students eager to engage and learn.
Lieutenant General Hassan Azhar Hayat, the Corps Commander in Peshawar, graced the occasion as a special guest. In his address to the gathering, he underscored the importance of fostering confidence among the youth in their country, national identity, cultural heritage, and individual capabilities. He also shed light on the perils of misinformation spread through social media channels, emphasizing the necessity of verifying news before accepting it as truth.
The primary objective of the Youth Convention was to enlighten the younger generation about regional issues, persistent challenges, and the enduring peace efforts and developmental endeavors in the area.
