Pakistan’s Olympic hero Arshad Nadeem arrived in Lahore on Turkish Airlines, where his plane was greeted with a water salute by the Civil Aviation Authorities (CAA) at Allama Iqbal International Airport. Following his arrival, a convoy carrying the national hero made its way to Mian Channu, stopping briefly in Manga Mandi for breakfast after he prayed the Fajr prayer at the Raiwind Markaz of Tablighi Jamaat.
In Manga Mandi, Arshad enjoyed breakfast at a local hotel surrounded by hundreds of fans and supporters. His convoy, escorted by Punjab Police, Traffic Police, Elite Force, and National Highway Police, celebrated his achievement of breaking a 119-year Olympic record in javelin throw with a distance of 92.97 meters.
The caravan then continued on its journey toward Sahiwal, with the final destination being Mian Channu. As the convoy entered Harappa territory, it made a brief stop at a petrol station, where Arshad took the time to step out and take pictures with police personnel.
Arshad Nadeem proudly won the gold medal for Pakistan in javelin throw at the Paris Olympics 2024.
