After being married a second time without his first wife’s permission in Khairpur, the man received a six-month jail sentence.

The woman, who was the man’s first wife, had filed a case in family court against her husband.

The woman claimed in her application that her spouse had secured a second marriage without first seeking her permission.

The individual was given a six-month jail sentence by the court based on the proof that was presented.

The cops moved the offender to central jail per the court’s instructions.

A woman may file a complaint against her husband under Section 6(5) of the Muslim Family Laws Ordinance of 1961 if he did not get her consent. If the man chooses to wed a different woman, he risks a year in jail.
