According to the provincial health ministry, district Korangi continued to be the most affected, with 63 cases reported in a single day.
In Karachi, the provincial health department has so far documented 1,620 cases of dengue fever this month, bringing the yearly total to 3,287.

Administrator Murtaza Wahab of Karachi informed today’s meeting that 201 dengue cases were registered in the city yesterday. He promised that the administration would begin a fumigation and spraying campaign to eliminate dengue mosquito larvae.
