Karachi: FIA arrests two suspects involved in harassing-blackmailing women

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) apprehended two suspects in two separate actions on Friday for harassing and blackmailing women in Karachi.

According to details, the apprehended suspects were blackmailing the applicant women with obscene pictures and videos.

The FIA Cyber Crime Circle recovered illicit images and videos from the suspects’ cellphones.

The cell phones have been sent to forensics, and a case has been filed against the blackmailers under the PICA act.

Earlier this month, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) claimed to have apprehended a blackmailer and extortionist from Karachi.

According to the details, the accused, Muhammad Shoaib, was blackmailing a woman using her alleged illicit pictures and demanding money from her. The FIA cybercrime wing took action after receiving a complaint about the accused.

Digital devices were also recovered from the accused’s possession, as were illicit pictures of the applicant from the gallery of Muhammad Shoaib’s mobile phone.
