Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi recently laid the foundation stone for a cutting-edge 100-bed international hospital in Islamabad. This project, a collaboration between the National Police Foundation (NPF) and a Turkish company, aims to significantly enhance healthcare services for police personnel and the general public.
The National Police Foundation has allocated the land for the hospital, while a Turkish private firm will invest Rs5 billion in the project.
Minister Naqvi emphasized that this initiative represents a major advancement in regional healthcare and a significant achievement for the NPF, which has been rejuvenated under the leadership of Sabir Ahmed, MD of NPF. He noted that funds from this and other NPF initiatives are being directed towards the welfare of police officers and the families of martyrs.
Naqvi also mentioned that the NPF and the Capital Development Authority (CDA) are planning to launch additional joint projects, with discussions already in progress.
Furthermore, Naqvi highlighted that the NPF’s efforts extend beyond Islamabad, citing the completion of a housing project in Hyderabad and ongoing renovations at the National Police Academy.
