According to the District Health Officer for Islamabad, 36 dengue cases were detected in the capital territory’s rural parts, while 19 infections were reported from the city.
He stated that out of the total 688 dengue cases reported this season, 424 cases were in rural areas and 244 were in cities.
Six dengue patients were admitted to PIMS hospital in the past 24 hours, nine patients to Holy Family hospital, two patients to DHQ Rawalpindi, and six patients to Benazir Bhutto Hospital in Rawalpindi, according to the DHO.
Additionally, 32 cases of the dengue virus were confirmed by private laboratories, according to a health official.
The local health officer reports that three dengue fever patients have died so far this season.
