Imran Khan likely to be discharged from hospital in next 24-48 hours

Imran Khan, the former prime minister, and leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) is expected to be discharged from Shaukat Khanum Hospital in Lahore within the next 24 to 48 hours.

The PTI chief is being treated at Shaukat Khanum Hospital after his container was attacked in Wazirabad on Thursday.

Various tests are being conducted on the PTI chief to determine his condition.

Imran Khan will be examined by a medical board soon, and it will be decided when he will be discharged.

The former PM will likely be released from the hospital in the next 24 to 48 hours, according to hospital sources.

The former PM’s physician, Dr. Faisal Sultan, provided a thorough breakdown of the attempted assassination in Wazirabad that left the party leader shot multiple times on Friday.

Prior to Imran Khan’s live press conference via video from Shaukat Khanum, Dr. Faisal Sultan displayed the x-rays of Imran Khan’s injured legs. Imran was seen sitting with his left knee bandaged and his right leg in a cast.

In two sets, Dr. Sultan displayed x-rays. His lower right leg received the second set, and the first set was for his thighs.

In addition, an x-ray of his leg revealed the presence of two additional bullets, one of which had already fractured the bone.
