“Decision to Follow Special Committee Meeting, Says Ex-Senate Chairman
Former Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani announced on Sunday that both the government and the nation can expect ‘good news.’
Sanjrani explained, ‘The government has shared key details related to the constitutional amendment bill with us. We will make our decision following the special committee meeting.’ He added, ‘It is too early to make any definitive statements about the matter.’
Separately, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) senior leader Syed Khursheed Shah emphasized that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) needs to adjust its ‘attitude in line with the constitutional package.’ Shah stated, ‘Any steps we take will be for the betterment of our institutions and the country.’ He also mentioned, ‘We will aim to address issues constructively and will involve Fazlur Rehman in all discussions,’ and expressed a desire for all parties to align on the same page.”
