Government urges the masses to replace previously circulating slogan regarding coronavirus on social media with official statement endorcing the new one. The new slogan says,
Corona Waba Hai, Ehtiyat Jiski Shifa Hai [ Coronavirus is an epidemic, precaution is its cure]
In the notification issued by the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, it is advised the former slogan shared on social media should be avoided and be replaced with the newly issued slogan. the new slogan urges the nation to understand how grave the epidemic is and how it can be controlled. According to the statement, the new slogan should be made part of the social media campaigns being carried out online and the old one ‘corona se darna nahi, larhna hai [ we don’t need to fear Covid, we need to fight it]’ should be replaced.
