FIA Arrests Key Suspect in Uzma Bokhari Fake Video Case

The Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) Cyber Crimes Unit has arrested Ali Hassan Toor, a key suspect in the controversial fake video targeting Provincial Information Minister Uzma Bokhari.

Toor was apprehended at Sialkot Airport while attempting to flee the country. Immigration authorities at the airport detained him and quickly notified the FIA’s Cyber Crimes Circle in Lahore. A team was dispatched to Sialkot, where Toor was taken into custody.

He is accused of being involved in the creation and distribution of the fake video, which allegedly aimed to defame Minister Bokhari. Toor’s name had been placed on the Exit Control List (ECL), which prohibited him from leaving the country.

This arrest represents a significant breakthrough in the ongoing investigation, which has garnered significant attention due to its political ramifications.
