Tuesday’s earthquake vibrations in Azad Kashmir, including Mirpur, were of 2.9 strength, according to ARY News.
The National Seismic Monitoring Center (NSMC) estimates that the earthquake’s epicenter was 9 km northeast of Jund. The earthquake’s depth was 35 km, and its Richter scale magnitude was 2.9.
The tremors didn’t cause any reported casualties, though.
No loss of life has been reported after the quake. It is to be mentioned here that the tremors relatively closer to the surface are likely to bear long-term adverse effects on the buildings.
