Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori acknowledged Dr. Zakir Naik’s contributions during an event at the Sindh Governor House on Thursday. Dr. Naik, a renowned Islamic scholar, expressed concern about the spread of false rumors against Islam, stating, “Propaganda is being staged in foreign media against our faith. I believe the media is a powerful and dangerous tool in today’s world.”
He noted that he came to Pakistan at the government’s invitation and shared his desire to tour the country to deliver lectures. “We Muslims have a strong understanding of the entertainment media,” Dr. Naik added.
Governor Tessori highlighted the diversity of attendees at the event, saying, “People from all religions and sects are present today. I have always strived to do my best for the community.” He commended Dr. Naik’s efforts, remarking, “The entire world recognizes the contributions of Dr. Zakir Naik.” He concluded by emphasizing that “Sindh is the land of saints, and Karachi is an economic hub.”
