Islamabad: The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) executed two alleged terrorists in Khuzdar, Balochistan, who were allegedly connected to a banned group.
According to a CTD official, the operation was carried out in the Sorgar area. In a gunfight with CTD staff, two terrorists were killed, and three of their companions fled, the speaker continued.
The terrorists were affiliated with a banned group.
The terrorists who were slain had explosives, weapons, and ammo taken from their possession.
The CTD of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) police earlier in November of last year engaged four terrorists in a gunfight while conducting a nocturnal search operation in the Hangu and Spin Wam districts of the Kohat province.
While the staff was returning from the operation in the Banda region, terrorists opened fire on them. Four terrorists were killed in the CTD authorities’ counterattack, but three to four more managed to escape by taking advantage of the night.
The terrorists that were slain were named as Sadiqullah alias Al-Qaida, Ahmed Raheem alias Saud, Samim Saeed alias Ustad, and Mustafa alias Mulla. They were members of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan’s banned Amir Hatim group (TTP).
