Emphasizing the significance of the Pakistan-China friendship, Senator Ishaq Dar expressed the comprehensive strategic partnership that has evolved into a cornerstone for the well-being, peace, and stability of the entire region.
During his visit to the Chinese Embassy, Senator Dar and Ambassador Jiang Zedong delved into detailed discussions on enhancing existing economic and strategic cooperation, as well as exploring investment opportunities in Pakistan. In addition, senator Dar acknowledged China’s consistent support to Pakistan during challenging times, crises, and natural calamities. He underscored the vast prospects for further collaboration in agriculture, trade, investment, information technology, and finance.
Expressing goodwill and friendship toward the Chinese people and government, Senator Ishaq Dar’s sentiments were welcomed by the Chinese Ambassador. Ambassador Jiang Zedong reaffirmed China’s commitment to working closely with the next elected government of Pakistan following the February 2024 general elections. He clarified that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) aims to foster joint development in the region.
