Bushra Bibi, wife of PTI founder Imran Khan, arrived at Zaman Park

Bushra Bibi, the wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, arrived at Zaman Park in Lahore on Wednesday following her release. Sources indicated that her visit was made at the instruction of Imran Khan.

Bushra Bibi is expected to remain at Zaman Park for the time being. Prior to her arrival, it was reported that the Peshawar High Court (PHC) granted her a 14-day protective bail.

The two-member bench, headed by Justice Shakeel Ahmed, instructed the federal government and the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to submit a report regarding her case within two weeks.

The court proceedings focused on a petition filed by Bushra Bibi, which sought information on the various cases registered against her in different provinces. During the hearing, the bench also issued a directive that she should not be arrested in connection with any of these cases while her bail is in effect.

This development comes amid a tumultuous period for PTI and its leadership, with several members facing legal challenges.

Bushra Bibi’s presence at Zaman Park signals her ongoing involvement in the party’s activities, especially in light of the recent political climate. The court’s decision to grant her protective bail reflects the legal complexities surrounding her situation and the broader context of political tensions in Pakistan.

As she stays at Zaman Park, her actions and any subsequent developments will be closely monitored by both supporters and critics of the PTI.
