Three British military horses broke free from their handlers and ran loose through the streets of central London on Monday.
This marks the second such incident in the past three months, according to UPI.
During Monday morning exercises, the lead horse was startled by a passing bus, causing three horses from the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment to escape, the Ministry of Defence confirmed.
Army and Metropolitan Police personnel quickly rounded up the horses and returned them to their Hyde Park Barracks, officials said.
One horse was treated for a minor injury, but no human injuries were reported.
This follows an incident on April 24 when four military horses escaped after being spooked by noise from a construction site and ran loose through the city.
Officials also noted that none of the horses involved in the most recent incident were part of the earlier escape.
