Bilawal’s witty reply to a question about marriage left everyone in stitches

During a recent meeting with journalists at Zardari House in Islamabad, the topic of marriage inevitably arose.

Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari paused for a moment, chuckling before responding with his signature humor. “Meri shadi meri marzi,” he said, prompting laughter from those present.

The question of marriage has been a recurring topic for Bilawal, who turned 36 this year. When asked about his future plans in this regard, he acknowledged, “Of course, I have plans to marry,” during a discussion with reporters at the sidelines of the 77th UN General Assembly session.

Reflecting on his views about a future partner, Bilawal revealed that any potential bride must first win the approval of his sisters. “The right candidate will first have to win over the hearts of my sisters. I have to take them into confidence. And winning over the hearts of my sisters is a very difficult task for any girl,” he noted, highlighting the importance of family in his decision-making process.

This candid exchange not only showcased Bilawal’s sense of humor but also offered a glimpse into his values and the significance he places on family dynamics. His lighthearted approach to a frequently asked question provides a refreshing perspective, showing that while he may have serious political responsibilities, he also maintains a relatable and down-to-earth demeanor when it comes to personal matters.

Overall, Bilawal’s response to the marriage question reflects both his personality and the cultural expectations surrounding marriage in his family, blending humor with sincerity.
