After an incident on the outskirts of Nairobi, Kenya, senior journalist and former ARY News anchor Arshad Sharif embraced martyrdom, according to ARY News on Monday.
His death has been confirmed by Kenyan police, who have also launched an investigation into the accident, which most likely involved a shooting.

Meanwhile, Foreign Office Spokesperson Asim Iftikhar said Pakistan’s High Commission in Kenya was ascertaining information from the relevant authorities. He said that authorities in both countries are yet to confirm the circumstances surrounding the death of Arshad Sharif.
