A Facebook group “Womenza” educates women to become e-commerce experts

A Facebook community called Womenza Pakistan supports and encourages women from all around the nation to start their own businesses and become financially independent.

Aiman S. Khan, who worked in marketing for ten years, is the creator of Womenza Pakistan.

She came up with the concept back in 2017, but this organization assisted women in operating their businesses online during the COVID-19 pandemic when almost every industry in the world was severely impacted and many workers lost their jobs.

She explained that she got the idea after realizing how few businesswomen knew how to sell their goods or services online.

Aiman and her team hold live workshops where they impart business concepts to the participants in order to protect them from internet scams.

She responded when asked how her family and friends react when they learn that you operate a Facebook group: “When people ask me what I do, I tell them that I run a Facebook community, but they believe I do it because it’s my hobby, but they don’t know that it’s a full-time work with a cause.”

Aiman’s organisation has more than 40.000 female members, and her mission is to empower Pakistani women and transform society.
