GILGIT: Earthquake tremors of magnitude 3.3 jolted Gilgit Baltistan and neighbouring areas on Wednesday, according to ARY News.
The epicentre of the earthquake, according to the National Seismic Monitoring Centre (NSMC), was 11 kilometres northwest of Gilgit. The earthquake had a depth of 29 kilometres and a Richter magnitude of 3.3.
As of now, no fatalities have been reported as a result of the earthquake.
On September 29, tremors of magnitude 3 jolted Chitral and surrounding areas.
The epicentre of the tremors was 45 kilometres north of Chitral, according to the National Seismic Monitoring Centre (NSMC). The depth of the quake was 33 km, and its Richter scale magnitude was 3.
On September 27, 2.9 magnitude earthquake tremors jolted multiple areas of Azad Kashmir, including Mirpur.
