Nationwide Closure Announced for June 25 and 26
The National Database and Registration Authority has announced a two-day nationwide closure of all offices and registration centers.
According to an official notification, NADRA offices will remain closed on June 25 and 26, 2026.
The closure has been announced in observance of Youm-e-Ashur, falling on the 9th and 10th of Muharram.
All regular NADRA offices and registration centers across Pakistan will remain shut on Thursday and Friday.
Mega Centers to Resume Work on June 27
NADRA said services at 24-hour centers will also be suspended during the holiday period.
For round-the-clock centers, operations will stop from midnight between June 24 and June 25.
Services will resume at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 27.
Mega Centers and other NADRA offices will return to their standard schedules after the Ashura break.
Citizens planning visits to NADRA centers have been advised to adjust their schedules accordingly.
Pak ID App Available During Holidays
Although physical offices will remain closed, NADRAโs digital services will continue.
The authority has encouraged citizens to use the Pak ID mobile application for essential identity-related services.
The app will remain available around the clock during the holidays.
Citizens can use the digital platform to process different identity services remotely.
For further assistance, citizens can contact the NADRA helpline at 1777 from mobile phones.
Public service delivery at physical NADRA centers will resume across Pakistan after the two-day closure.
