In a major leap toward digital governance, the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has made it easier than ever for Pakistani citizens to apply for government jobs — now fully online through the Pak ID mobile app.
This streamlined process eliminates the need for in-person visits or paperwork. Applicants can simply sign in to the NADRA careers portal using Single Sign-On (SSO) within the Pak ID app, access a personalized career dashboard, and apply for jobs directly from their smartphones.
The move is part of NADRA’s broader vision to enhance e-governance and modernize public service delivery. Initially designed for document-related services like NIC, NICOP, and FRC applications, the Pak ID app has recently undergone a major upgrade. New features include biometric login, document uploads, and real-time application tracking — all now accessible on both Android and iOS platforms.
To assist users, NADRA has also released a video tutorial guiding applicants through each step of the job application process, making it user-friendly for everyone.
The integration of the career portal is expected to increase transparency, efficiency, and accessibility in government recruitment, aligning with Pakistan’s vision of a digitally empowered public sector.
In a related development, NADRA earlier introduced another digital convenience by allowing citizens to download digital copies of their vehicle registration and arms licence cards via the same app — completely free of cost.
With these innovations, NADRA continues to set new benchmarks in digital public service delivery. Citizens are encouraged to download the Pak ID app, explore job opportunities, and apply online — all from the comfort of their homes.
