Streamlined Appointment Booking for Citizens
With the new system, users can schedule appointments at any NADRA Registration Center (NRC) nationwide. The feature is designed to reduce waiting times, improve efficiency, and manage crowds at service centers. Citizens are advised to arrive at least 10 minutes before their scheduled time for smooth processing.
The initiative ensures that applicants no longer need to stand in long queues. Instead, they can confirm their visit in advance with just a few clicks. This change marks a major step toward modernising the service delivery process.
Expanding Services Through the Pak ID App
The Pak ID app already offers a variety of services, including applying for new CNICs, renewing identity cards, and modifying NICOP details. Users can complete biometric verification, upload documents, and make secure online payments directly within the app.
The addition of appointment booking further strengthens the app’s role as a comprehensive digital service platform. Citizens now have the ability to handle almost every part of their identity application process from home.
Upgraded Online Fee Payment System
In addition to appointment booking, NADRA has modernised its fee payment system. The updated system allows citizens in Pakistan and abroad to pay fees securely using multiple online cash platforms.
Payments can be made through Easypaisa, JazzCash, or e-Sahulat. Applicants can easily pay for Smart National Identity Cards (SNIC), Child Registration Certificates (CRC), and Family Registration Certificates (FRC). The simplified payment method ensures that documents are delivered quickly to the chosen address.
Enhancing User Experience and Efficiency
This digital transformation by NADRA highlights the growing importance of technology in government services. The introduction of online appointments and digital payments reduces delays, enhances security, and saves time for millions of users.
With the Pak ID app, NADRA is building a smoother, user-friendly system that supports both local citizens and overseas Pakistanis. The improvements are expected to significantly reduce the burden on service centers while improving customer satisfaction.
NADRA’s launch of the appointment booking feature through the Pak ID mobile app represents a significant step toward efficient, citizen-focused governance. Combined with upgraded online payments, the initiative promises greater convenience, transparency, and accessibility in national identity services.
