NADRA introduces 100% accurate fingerprint identification system
ISLAMABAD: The National Database and Registration Authority has developed a 100% accurate a new fingerprint identification system. The system โNADIR,โ has an accuracy rate of 99.5%.

NADIR is based on the Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS) technology. Chairman NADRA Tariq Malik has termed this development a significant breakthrough in biometrics.
Chairman NADRA said that the engineers of the authority have developed this system which is being used in a few countries in the world only.
He said that the launching of the AFIS technology-based system is aimed at facilitating the public with an automatic identification system based on fingerprints.
Meanwhile, NADRA has also launched a new service called โIjazat Aap Ki.โ It will facilitate public to complete the verification process with convenience.
The new service will streamline the verification process and provide a hassle-free experience for the public, NADRA spokesman said.
With the new NADIR system and โIjazat Aap Kiโ service, NADRA aims to enhance the security and efficiency of its services.
The introduction of the new fingerprint identification system and the launch of the โIjazat Aap Kiโ service mark a significant step forward for NADRA and the field of biometrics.
