Registration Process
ISLAMABAD: On Monday, the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) initiated the emergency registration of undocumented Afghan nationals in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, with 22 mobile vans deployed to Landi Kotal for the process.
The spokesperson stated that 20 counters, equipped with mobile vans and staffed by 140 NADRA employees working round the clock, were established at the transit point.

Starting November 1, NADRA increased its daily registration capacity to 15,000. Senior NADRA officers are present, providing assistance to foreigners returning home and ensuring the well-being of women, elders, and children. Foreigners at the border appreciated NADRA’s efficient services.
In the last 24 hours, 6,584 undocumented Afghan nationals returned home, with continuous departures from Chaman and Torkham border crossings. Temporary transit camps are set up in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan for illegal immigrants.
On Sunday, a significant number of Afghan immigrants crossed into Afghanistan, with thousands waiting at the Torkham border. Moreover, Pakistani authorities, following the deadline for illegal immigrants, are facilitating their safe exit from the country.
PML-N Intensifies Efforts for Electoral Alliances in Sindh

KARACHI: With elections nearing in a couple of months, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) is intensifying efforts to form an electoral alliances in Sindh, a stronghold of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).
To realize its plans for governing the province, the Shehbaz Sharif-led party held separate meetings on Saturday with leaders of other political entities in Sindh, including the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) and Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA).
The PML-N delegation, including leaders Ayaz Sadiq, Khawaja Saad Rafique, Bashir Memon, Kheel Das Kohistani, and Ali Akbar Gujjar, met with JUI-F Sindh Secretary General Allama Rashid Mahmood Soomro to discuss a potential electoral alliance and seat adjustment for the upcoming general elections on February 8, 2024.
