ISLAMABAD: The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has announced the expansion of its biker service to additional cities, including Karachi. This initiative allows citizens to access NADRA services from the comfort of their homes, eliminating the need to visit NADRA offices.
The biker service is now available in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Taxila, Lahore, Karachi, Mirpur Khas, and Wah Cantonment.
Ehtasham Shahid, Director General of the NADRA Karachi region, officially launched the service by handing over keys to bikers equipped with the necessary tools for operations.
The service operates Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 7 PM. Citizens can renew their CNICs and access other NADRA services by registering through the NADRA helpline. However, applicants seeking to create a new CNIC must still visit a NADRA office.
For the biker service, an additional fee of Rs. 1,000 will be charged on top of the standard document renewal fees. Once processed, documents will be delivered directly to the applicant’s home, making the process more efficient.
Initially introduced in Punjab, the NADRA Biker Service has now expanded to Sindh, starting with three motorcycles in Karachi. Plans are underway to extend the service to Hyderabad and Mirpur Khas to further improve accessibility for citizens in the region.
