TEHRAN: Videos reportedly recorded over Tehran on September 20 have sparked online speculation after appearing to show a circular object hovering near cloud level, with some commentators linking it to alleged secret US aerospace programmes.
Footage said to have been captured from the Azadegan Expressway shows a circular, apparently semi-transparent object in the sky. Witness accounts cited alongside the videos described the object as relatively large and silent.
However, the available material does not establish the object’s dimensions, altitude, propulsion system or origin, and no independently verified evidence demonstrates that it used gravity-control technology.
Claims Link Object to Alleged ‘Flux Liner’ Programme
Some online accounts have identified the object as an alleged Alien Reproduction Vehicle, or “Flux Liner,” while distinguishing it from the purported triangular TR-3B “Black Manta”.
These claims draw partly on statements by aerospace illustrator Mark McCandlish, who alleged in 2001 that classified programmes had reverse-engineered non-human technology to develop gravity-control aircraft.
Supporters of the theory cite the object’s reported silence, apparent ability to hover and unusual visual appearance. They also claim electrogravitic fields could distort light and suppress radar or thermal signatures.
Nevertheless, no publicly verified evidence establishes the existence of operational TR-3B or Flux Liner aircraft, zero-point-energy propulsion or gravity-reduction systems of the type described.
Tehran Sighting Revives Comparisons With 1976 UFO Incident
Meanwhile, the sighting has drawn comparisons with the well-known 1976 Tehran UFO incident, which involved reports from Iranian military personnel and subsequently appeared in US intelligence documentation.
Some commentators have suggested the latest object represents a classified reconnaissance platform operating over Iran. That interpretation remains unverified.
Consequently, the footage can establish only that an unidentified object was reportedly observed over Tehran. Claims identifying it as a US-built gravity-control vehicle require evidence beyond witness descriptions and video appearances.
