Rising Road Accidents Raise Safety Concerns
The latest tragedy highlights growing concerns about dangerous mountain roads across Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
Poor road conditions, reckless driving, and inadequately maintained vehicles frequently contribute to accidents in mountainous areas.
Just one day earlier, four children died and four others suffered injuries when another vehicle plunged into a deep ravine in Neelum Valley.
The repeated incidents have intensified concerns about road maintenance, vehicle fitness inspections, and transport safety enforcement.
Authorities face increasing pressure to improve road safety and prevent further tragedies in mountainous regions.
