LAHORE: The Punjab Home Department has announced multiple job openings under its Media Thinktank for Resilience and Counter-Narrative Initiative, offering market-based salaries for qualified candidates across several digital and media-related positions.
According to the official advertisement, the department has invited applications from motivated and eligible individuals for the posts of Video Editor and Animator, Graphic Designer, Social Media Optimization Expert, Digital Media Monitoring Assistant and Electronic Media Monitoring Assistant. The recruitment campaign aims to strengthen the departmentโs media monitoring and digital communication capabilities through skilled professionals.
The hiring process covers a total of seven vacancies. Authorities have announced two positions each for Video Editor and Animator as well as Graphic Designer. Meanwhile, one vacancy each has been allocated for Social Media Optimization Expert, Digital Media Monitoring Assistant and Electronic Media Monitoring Assistant.
Applicants must submit their forms online through the official Punjab Job Portal
. However, candidates are also required to send hard copies of their application forms along with updated CVs, attested copies of CNIC, domicile certificates, educational documents, experience certificates and two recent passport-size photographs through registered courier service to the Home Department.
The department stated that only candidates possessing valid Punjab domiciles would be eligible for the recruitment process. In addition, officials clarified that all positions are purely contract-based, although extensions may be granted depending on satisfactory performance and contractual terms.
Government and semi-government employees have been instructed to provide a valid No Objection Certificate issued by their respective departments. Furthermore, the advertisement stated that no travel or daily allowance would be provided for tests or interviews.
Authorities have set May 26, 2026, as the final date for applications and warned that late submissions would not be considered after office hours on the closing date.
