ISLAMABAD: The brutal murder of Mustafa Amir has sent shockwaves through Karachi, with his mother, Wajiha Amir, rejecting any financial settlement (diyat) and demanding full legal action against those responsible.
Speaking to a private TV channel, Wajiha Amir disclosed that during a recent court hearing, the family of the prime suspect, Armaghan, approached her with a financial settlement offer. She recalled Armaghanโs mother seeking reconciliation, to which she firmly responded, โWhat reconciliation? Tell your son to reveal my sonโs whereabouts, and I will withdraw all FIRs.โ
Mustafa Amir, a BBA student just three months away from graduation, had a deep passion for cars. His mother expressed a grim sense of relief that his tragic case had helped expose a larger criminal network.
